Description

Through the Gallery is a single-channel video incorporating ChatGPT, made specifically for an exhibition at the Thacher Gallery at the University of San Francisco. The text in the video is drawn from the generative artificial intelligence (AI) chatbot called ChatGPT, which was released in December 2022. Berdugo commissioned a gig actor named "ngwangrenus" from the platform sharing site Fiverr.com to produce one of the songs in the video, using the lyrics written by ChatGPT. The video background music is also AI generated using a music production platform called AIVA.
